Retrogrades: Jupiter

Retrogrades: Jupiter

(Original publication date unavailable)

When a retrograde happens,
the planetary forces are moving backward or are reversed.
So things tend to get a little backward and mucked up.
When the planet named for the ruler of the Roman gods is in retrograde, you know its time to slow down.

Jupiter Represents : Luck, expansion, opportunity, travel, wisdom. Ruler of the sign Sagittarius
Jupiter retrograde:
Jupiter takes around 12 years to do a complete revolution around the sun, is retrograde for about 4 months each year.
When Jupiter goes retrograde it is good to review our visions, ideals, and belief systems in life.
When the planet of Opportunity is retracing its steps, it is time to start checking back with opportunities that did not pan out initially.
The planet of wisdom revisiting the part of the Heavens it just passed through suggests finding wisdom by reviewing the past events in your life.
When Jupiter is Retrograde, expansion or growth in your life stops abruptly.
All sorts of external energies are sucked away from you, so that you need to look into your internal self for survival.
You need to put in much more energy and commitment than normally warranted for your projects.
There will be things that you have been clinging to that will be removed and you will need to continue your journey without them, but ultimately it is for your benefit.

*Now, everyone thinks of a Retrograde as only one phase, but there are actually three phases:

#1 First Shadow zone = The planet introduces itself by bringing up some issue or creating an event in life.
2/6/2017 Jupiter first shadow zone:
From now until when Jupiter stations retrograde is called the first shadow period. During this phase you will get an idea of the personal growth and happiness issues that may be of concern during the retrograde phase

#2 Second Shadow zone or Retrograde= the planet during its retrograde phase “revisits” that issue or event, which may also entail delaying the resolution or realization of action.
6/9/2017 Jupiter second shadow zone/retrograde:
This second shadow period lasts until Jupiter leaves the retrograde zone on 9 September 2017. Areas of life that were a major focus during the Jupiter retrograde phase can now be worked on

#3 Retrograde finale= Having returned to direct motion, the planet again advances , which causes the final resolution or fruition of what was brought up in phase 1.
9/9/2017 Jupiter retrograde finale:
This completes the final phase of Jupiter retrograde 2017. The outlook is extremely positive after that questionable shadow direct phase.

These are things to expect:
A stopping of all forward motion, new business going at a sluggish pace, travel plans going awry, unexpected luck and twist of fortune for the better, hindrances in new business, travel, forward motion, wisdom, luck.

This is how you can use it your advantage:
Instead of the Jupiterian “go, go, go”- try slow, slow, slow. Use this time to work on and finish old business left undone, clear up loose ends, check on opportunities/projects/friendships that didn’t bear any fruit originally. Examine your internal workings, belief systems, goals, life track. Give your life a review and make sure that you are going in the correct direction.

These are the opportunities that you will have during this retrograde:
Figure out your next life step, figuring out just how resourceful you can be, figuring how patient and content you can be.
This is what you can learn from it:
Lessons that Jupiter retrograde can teach us…. Slowing down isn’t stopping. There are many times when your inner guidance is a heck of a lot more valuable then luck. Effective & efficient time management (can’t do something new, finish up the old)

This is what it does to help us:
This retrograde teaches us the value of looking over our own inner landscape and finishing things that have been left undone. It teaches us to rely on our own innate wisdom, instead of just running ahead regardless of the consequences all the while relying on our luck to carry us through any trouble or bumps in the road.

These are things that can help mitigate its influences:
Preparation and allowances for hiccups and difficulties in the above mentioned areas
Sunstone, Aventurine, Citrine, Pyrite
Or if you wish to use this time to your advantage:
Slowing down, meditating, inward reflection,
Sodalite, Selenite, Tiger eye, Clear quartz, Amethyst, White howlite

Here is what you can do to counteract it:
You really cant, so sit down and enjoy the ride!

Comets, Influence & Myth

Comets, Influence & Myth

(Original publication date unavailable)

Since Comet 45P swung by us this past weekend, I decided it was a great time to do a short article and answer a few questions on the subject.
Comets are generally not a very well touched on the subject in astrology, so information is a little hard to come by.

Often times in the old days (ancient Egypt, ancient Rome, the Renaissance), comets presaged Wars, death, slaughter, the deaths of extremely important historical figures, hurricanes, tsunamis, plagues, etc.

Some examples:
A comet was going by when Julius Ceasar was assassinated, and Halley’s comet was flying our friendly skies when the black death hit.

These days we have a little bit more of an enlightened point of view on them.
Many astrologers feel that when a comet passes by it is an indicator of the birth of someone of great importance,

(the negative astrological viewpoint on comets was partially influenced by the issues of far-flung past record keeping and historical tracking-the record keeping back then SUCKED!).
Case in point, a comet went by when Theodore Roosevelt was born.

There are different schools of thought on the ways to interpret the astrological significance of the different comets that visit our solar system.
Some astrologers feel that it’s important to know which astrological sign the comet is passing through or what planet it is conjunct with or what color it is, it’s also important to know which direction the comet is pointed.
Comets are also heavily associated with sacrifice, Especially for those who have a comet around the time of their birth.

Mythological fun fact:
It is from the Greek myth of Menippe and Metioche , Daughters of Orion the Hunter that the term meteorite originate.
These two girls were told by the oracle of Apollo in their lands time of great plague that they were to sacrifice themselves for the plagues to end. Well, Hades and Persephone took great pity them and changed them into comets and meteorites.

Like Chiron, comets are from the distant boundary of our solar system.

Therefore it has been suggested that comets symbolize Frozen issues:

things that ignite and grab our attention,
things that swim up from our unconscious mind.
Also symbolizing the birth of new ideas and life.
Just as when the comet flies by our sun it releases gases & dust as the sun heats it up and burns off its frozen core, so too does this represent ideas & emotions being heated up and released.
Thereby giving birth to all kinds of new and interesting conditions.
Historically comets have a huge role in catalyzing Innovations.
We saw their influence in some of Steve Jobs and Thomas Edison’s works.
Either way, Comets symbolize great change for our world, whether, through innovation, wars, disease, societal mindset reset, plagues, the fall of great leaders, etc.

The Chinese call a comet, the broom star.
They also generally associated comets with bad luck.
But, keep in mind, a brooms purpose is to CLEAN.
We use them for cleaning and sweeping away the old to bring in the new.
Also, the Chinese name for comets is hui xin which directly translates into wisdom.
So not only do comets sweep away the old and bring in the new, cleaning up our lives in the process, they also bring wisdom.
So now that you’ve heard all that back and forth on the astrological significance of the comet, Track the events of the world and decide for yourself.
I feel that they imply great change, revolutionary change at times.
Also this year we’re going to have quite a few comets passing by us, I will be interested to see how 2017 progresses.

Lunar Eclipses & You

Lunar Eclipses & You
(Original publication date unavailable)
So you might be wondering how a Lunar eclipse could effect you, well if the other celestial bodies have such an effect on our day to day lives, one would think that our bright and beloved satellite’s influence would surpass them all.
Our lovely lady Moon has inspired songs, plays, poems, books, television, movies and long before any of that she made men stare up and wonder, spinning myths & fairy tales about her mysteriously silent beauty.
Lady moon has always been known to have an effect on earths tides, on a womans “Moon time”, and ofcourse everybody knows it’s gonna be a crazy night if its a Full moon.
So what happens when she is Eclipsed??
Well scientifically speaking, during a Lunar Eclipse the Earth is exactly between the sun and the moon (known as an opposition between the sun and the moon) and we can see earths shadow giving the moon a new coat of paint. Lady moon becomes robed in reds, browns, and deep grays.
Now, what happens astrologically???
During a Lunar Eclipse, we become very well acquainted with our shadow selves. Anger, fear, jealousy, etc…..we all have them and they are part of what makes us who we are, but we get a very real look at ourselves during a Lunar Eclipse.
So it’s the perfect time to be honest with ourselves about our darker sides. After all,  the only way to truly master one’s dark side is to integrate it. Most days we ignore our shadow self, and if we ignore a part of ourselves too much (especially one so intense) it comes crashing down on us like a tidal wave. It is also a change to the natural cycle of the moon, usually, it goes from New moon to full moon with all of the stages in between, Lunar eclipses switch up that process a little. It allows us to make large spiritual evolutionary jumps and get ahead of any process that we are in the process of.
A Lunar Eclipse is the perfect time for some self-analysis, self-acceptance, and self-embracing. And that’s how our lovely lady moon effects you in all of the colors of her eclipse 😉
Lunar Eclipses for 2017:
Penumbral-February 10-11
Partial-August 7
* The penumbra (from the Latin paene “almost, nearly”) is the region in which only a portion of the light source is obscured by the occluding body.
We will not see a total Lunar eclipse until January 31st of 2018.

Eastern New Year 2017

I would like to chat ,briefly, about The Eastern New Year.
You may be wondering why I call it the Eastern New Year, and why it happens to be happening on January 28th instead of January 1st.

I refer to it as the Eastern New Year because it is celebrated throughout most of the east, and most of the east uses a lunar calendar (The Lunar calendar has 354 days, follows the phases of the moon and some of the first lunar calendars have been dated as far back as 32000 years) which puts their New year on a different date then ours . Here in the states, we use a solar calendar (A solar calendar is a calendar whose dates indicate the position of Earth on its revolution around the Sun or, equivalently, the apparent position of the sun moving on the celestial sphere).

As we leave 2016, we are leaving the year of the fire monkey, a year of extremely aggressive & outgoing change ( as some of you may have noticed, some more than others) ,with a special focus on the area of career – the Oriental sign of the monkey is the yang half of the House of career (There are 6 houses in eastern astrology, and each relates to a specific pair of signs that are always right next to each other on the zodiac wheel. Each house is divided into a yin sign half and a yang sign half). Monkey being the Yang half, means that it is followed by its partner sign of rooster- the yin half.

Now we’re really going to dive into how the Eastern zodiac relates to you in relation to this upcoming year of the fire rooster.
As we enter 2017 , we are entering the year of the fire rooster.
( In eastern astrology, A person’s characteristics are decided by their birth year’s zodiac sign and element. 12 signs and 5 elements. And so it follows that the animal sign year is augmented by whichever element it falls on)

Now there are 5 types of rooster years and their corresponding signs:
Types Years Traits
*Wood Rooster – 1945 & 2005 – Energetic, overconfident, tender, and unstable
*Fire Rooster- 1957 & 2017 – Trustworthy, with a strong sense of timekeeping and responsibility at work
*Earth Rooster- 1909 & 1969 – Lovely, generous, trustworthy, and popular with their friends
*Metal Rooster-1921 & 1981 – Determined, brave, perseverance, and hardworking
*Water Rooster- 1933 & 1993 – Smart, quick-witted, tenderhearted, and compassionate

One thing to keep in mind,
According to eastern astrology, the year of one’s birth sign is the most unlucky year for them in the 12-year cycle. In the year of your sign, fortune in all aspects of your life will go a bit sour for you. Therefore, Roosters should be more careful in 2017.
But this is also the year that will be seeing all of you Monkeys out there, come out of any sour luck and be back to your exuberant selves, right around the spring equinox.
People born in this year have some basic traits, which are:
This eastern sign corresponds to the western sign of Virgo. These two signs share many similarities, chiefly among these are –
1 the need to be of service,
2 the need to be productive,
3 the need for appreciation for all that they do (they dont need a parade, just a solid thank you is all it takes sometimes)
4 The need for order, some routine and structure in their lives,
5 the need to find their place in a pecking order.
The roosters of the world need to have pride in both themselves and the people in their lives, they can be a bit too conscious of what others think at times, they need to remember that their opinion is the only opinion that truly counts in their lives. They are also wonderfully blunt (but this can also be seen as being mean without understanding the nature of the creature), which can be a little hard to take unless tempered with love and kindness.
There is quite a bit more to say on the Rooster, but for the purpose of keeping this article somewhat short, we will move on

These are some things to expect in the year of the fire rooster:
Career shifts(subtle), Being a little more self conscious, having a more internal focus, more focus on health related issues, a great time to go back to school, less cooperation, more misunderstandings ( can be combated by much more talking and truly listening)

These are a few ways that you can use the year of the fire rooster to your advantage:
Wonderful year for a career re-think and shift,
Great year to focus on your health and dropping any negative habits,
Great year to pick up that writing project that you have been putting off,
Great year to renew an instinct to help other people,
Fantastic year to exercise more self discipline and also to take up meditation.
Good year for self betterment.

These are things that can help mitigate any negative influences and boost the positive influences:
Be aware of this years energy, and then plan for any “technical difficulties” related to those energies.

This is how to make 2017 one of your best years:
Make the decision to be conscientious and aware of this signs energies and use it to your benefit.

I encourage you to look into the eastern zodiac for yourself, it is a rich and wonderful subject. It is also a great tool for interpersonal relationship & self harmony.

Here is what I know: Ley lines

Ley Lines
(Original publication date unavailable)

So, this is the definition of Ley lines:
‘Ley lines are hypothetical alignments of a number of places of geographical interest, such as ancient monuments and megaliths. Their existence was suggested in 1921 by the amateur archaeologist Alfred Watkins, whose book ‘The Old Straight Track’ brought the alignments to the attention of the wider public’.

The concept of Ley lines was first espoused by Mr. Alfred Watkins ( though Watkins also drew on earlier ideas about alignments; in particular he cited the work of the English astronomer Norman Lockyer, who argued that ancient alignments might be oriented to sunrise and sunset at solstices) in Blackwardine, Herefordshire, England ,on June 30 1921.
The origin of the idea that there are veins of energy running through the earth is interminable, but Mr. Watkins was the first to call these veins Ley Lines.

This is what I know about Ley lines:
Think of them as a set of energetic veins that run through the Earth.
Just as you have veins and capillaries in your skin, the earth has its own set of veins and capillaries-which we called Ley lines.
Ley lines being energetic veins cause paranormal phenomenon -practitioners- entities- all manner of spiritual beasties to travel along and be drawn to them. As life is drawn to and travels along waterways, spiritual activity travels along and is drawn to Ley lines.

There are also points where 2 or more Ley lines cross each other, these points are called – Node, nexus,heart-.and are very powerful. These Nodes generally have a radius of stronger energy emanating from them, the size of the ley lines is proportionate to the size of the radius of ambient energy.

You need to know your ley  lines (and before you ask, yes I am working on an accurate map of the Ley lines. But that’s the trick making or finding an accurate map. The Ley lines do tend to follow waterways.) as an energy worker- metaphysician- Mystic- any sort of ritualistic religious practitioner-etc. You need to know if you are by a line/on a line or on a Node, as it will boost all of your spells and your energy work.
Also, unconsciously tapping into a ley line can unintentionally catalyze the effects of any of your practices.
Your work can you get out of hand if you don’t know where you are at on the ley-line grid, very easily.

Which brings us to an important point:
It is also of utmost importance to know whether a Node or ley line’s energy has soured or is polluted, as the ley line pollution can cause your energy work-spellwork-etc to backfire, invite negative energy/entites (which impact every aspect of your life) and, in general cause all manner of problems.
When a ley-line is sour or the energy has become dirty through whichever of various means(including stagnation-like water when it becomes stagnant. Stagnant water is a breeding ground for all manner of pests, fungi, grossness. When energy is stagnant & blocked, it has much the same problem), it affects the surrounding areas and it can travel through the Ley lines to infect other lines as well as Nodes.
The extent of infection is proportionate to the severity of contaminating energy (Contaminating energy can be from metaphysical or mundane factors).
When a line or Node has become infected with polluted or stagnant energy, you will notice surrounding areas feel heavier and begin to deteriorate visibly. The area becomes more run down in appearance, bad elements begin migrating to these areas, when you visit these areas you feel depressed/irritable/anxious or even sick, and darker spirits/entites become more prevalent.

****Also just as a warning label / educational note, basically an FYI : Do Not tap into a dirty Node or ley line. using a sour ley line, will negate any positive effects intended by the practice and would have exponentially worse negative effects on the region in which the work was done. And as a side effect, you will also increase the energetic pollution along that line.***

What is Tea Leaf reading? A Tasseomancers Perspective

Howdy folks,

We have a wonderful treat for you guys today!!!!

A new Guest writer, Mr. Star Knight, has been kind enough to shed some light on the Mysterious subject of Tea leaf reading!!!!!

He is a Tasseomancer & Bone reader Himself, as well as having his own company (Mysterious Magick) which he runs with his Fiance.

He sells tinctures, salves, teas & so much more!!!! (He is also set to be a vendor & reader at our upcoming Healing fair on November 11th…So come on out and chat with him then!!!!)

What is Tea Leaf reading? A Tasseomancers Perspective

Tea leaf reading, or Tasseomancy, was first attributed to people in China who have held a deep adoration of tea and its beneficial qualities for centuries.

From there it traveled across the globe and became a widely respected art especially in areas such as Russia, Romania, and France.

FORTUNE TELLING:

Fortune tellers began to notice patterns and shapes left in their cups after drinking tea and interpreted them as prophecies and messages of the past, present and future. This spread and developed during the seventeenth century when Dutch merchants introduced tea to Europe.

As a cheap method of fortune-telling, it only required a cup of tea so became increasingly popular as both a means to tell the future and a method of entertainment.

When finishing off a cup of loose leaf tea, leaves often line the sides and base of the cup. The idea behind reading tea leaves is that whilst drinking, a person’s movements affect the leaves swirling around so that when they settle the shapes are unique to them. It is then up to the reader to interpret these shapes.

*The handle of the tea cup is supposed to be representative of the person who is getting the reading. This means it’s a great place to start the reading and then progress in a clockwise direction around the cup. If the shape is closer to the handle then it means something is happening at present to you, rather than in the past.

*SMALL LEAVES AND DUST- If these form a clear line it’s the indication of a message about a journey. The length of the journey and the route it will take is determined by how the tea dust settles.

The person whose fortune is to be told, call the “sitter” or “consultant”, should then take the cup by the handle in the left hand, rim upwards, and move it in a circle rapidly three times from left to right. some of the tea leaves will seem to cling to the sides of the cup while others remain in the bottom.

Next slowly invert the cup over the saucer and leave it there until all liquid drains away.

The “sitter” should approach the oracle in all seriousness and during the ritual should concentrate on his or her future destiny and “wish” that the symbol shall correctly represent happenings to come.

The handle of the cup represents the “sitter” in his or her own “sphere” or “residence” and is the “south” point of the compass. This fixed point designates “letters to” the consultant or “journeys away from”, “visitors to be expected”, distance “to and from”, etc.

The cup is divided into three parts. The rim designates the present; the side, events not far distant; and the bottom the distant future. The nearer the symbols appear to the handle the nearer to fulfillment will be the events foretold.

Of course this is just one example, always follow your intuition as all read differently and there is no set standard.

What the Heck is Orgonite???

Standard

Howdy folks ,

We have yet another awesome guest Writer for you today!!!!!!!!

His name is Mr. Bryce Hanna, and Young Mr. Hanna will be answering the question that I have been getting quite alot lately……..What the Heck IS Orgonite?

Mr. Hanna is the owner of Creative Energies, a local maker of Orgonite and a Purveyor of Crystals-Gems-Minerals and such(Creative Energies will be vending at our Halloween psychic fair!!!).

Which , I felt, made him the perfect choice to write this piece, So please..ENJOY!!!!

                                                                    What is Orgonite?

Orgonite is a substance created using a combination of organic resin, metal, and a quartz crystal. It has numerous benefits to both health and spirituality, primarily through its ability to cleanse the negative energy of the environment surrounding it.

In the first half of the 20th Century, Dr. Wilhelm Reich, an Austrian psychiatrist and researcher came up with a model for the energy of life. He observed that we are constantly surrounded by field of energy and different vibrational frequencies, a large spectrum of which affect us mentally, spiritually, and physically. He called this life force “Orgone Energy” (the same spectrum of energy known in other cultures as chi, prana, ether, etc.) and observed that there was both a positive and negative side of the spectrum. He then observed through a series of studies that organic material attract and hold positive Orgone energy while inorganic materials such as metals attract negative Orgone energy, each repelling its opposite.

The original “Orgonite” was not what we know it as today. After exploring the effects of different material on the Orgone energy field Reich devised what he called his “Orgone Accumulators.” These were large boxes with the inside structure lined with alternating layers of metal and wool or other organic substances. He conducted studies on this and found that the more time people spent sitting within these structures, the greater the intensity of emotion they felt.

Fast forward to the 21st century in which many more strange effects of ordinary objects on the ever present energy around us have been discovered. We now know that quartz and other crystals possess individual energy fields that impact our when they enter our proximity. Scientist John Hutchison also observed that quartz crystals possess piezoelectric properties, meaning that they release a spectrum of positive energy when pressure is applied them. This unique properties of crystals combined with the effects of Reich’s Orgone Accumulator create the positive effects of Orgonite as we know it today.

Orgonite has a multitude of benefits to both health and spirituality. It clears the positive ions (the charges in the air responsible for the stuffy feeling before a storm and the increase in pain from ailments such as arthritis) by absorbing the excess and converting them into negative ions (the opposite charges which possess a number of positive health benefits). It has also been shown to increase the vibrancy of the electromagnetic energy field or “aura” surrounding the body, cause a lift in mood and energy, and aid in plant growth.

What the Heck are Access Bars ?!?!?!?!

Standard

Howdy Folks,

We have an awesome Guest writer penning this article for us today, Ms. Antoinette Brown 😀

Ms. Brown is taking the Mystery out of Access Bars Consciousness, so let’s dive in 😀

What the Heck are Access Bars??!!!?!?!

“Bars” is a form of energy work developed by Gary Douglas, founder of Access Consciousness.  It is a gentle, hands-on technique of lightly touching the head, energizing certain points that activate stored information.

It is a gentle, hands-on technique of lightly touching the head, energizing certain points that activate stored information.

There are 32 bars of energy run through & around your head.

They store the electromagnetic component of all the thoughts, ideas, attitudes, decisions and beliefs that you have ever had about anything.

For example, for every thought you have ever had about money that you considered important, the energy of that thought is stored in the Bar called “money.”

There are Bars for healing, body, control, awareness, creativity, power, aging, sex and money, just to name a few. Each thought, idea, attitude, decision or belief that you have fixed in place solidifies the energy and limits your capacity to be generative in that area and to have something different show up in your life with ease.

Each thought, idea, attitude, decision or belief that you have fixed in place solidifies the energy and limits your capacity to be generative in that area and to have something different show up in your life with ease.

A Bars session releases energy that is blocked and opens you up to receiving more of what you want in your life.

Touch 1 Bar, and you begin to clear away the energy locked up in its aspect of your life. Touch another Bar and you not only get the “issues” from the first Bar, you also begin clearing the “issues” stored in that second Bars. You clear all the points of view about those two Bars in relation to each other, allowing for exponential change.

What is the value of erasing this bank of data you have stored throughout this lifetime, and every lifetime? When you are functioning from preconceived points of view about what is possible or not possible in life, and have a rigidly defined perspective of how the world works, you cannot be aware of anything that does not match.

Each thought, idea, attitude, decision, or belief that you have fixed in place solidifies the energy and limits your capacity to change anything in that area. When you change the energy, you change how that part of your life shows up.

**Bars” is an extremely relaxing session that can take you into deep states of stillness, and release limitations from all areas of your life.**

Sessions take roughly one hour and can be repeated as often as you wish.

Bars Sessions are $125, to book a personal session please call me at Cell# 469-774-2661.

“How can it get better than this!”

Here is what I know: Re-incarnation

Standard

Here is what I know: Reincarnation
Reincarnation:
ˌrēənkärˈnāSH(ə)n/
noun
  1. the rebirth of a soul in a new body.
synonyms: rebirth, transmigration of the soul, metempsychosis

    • a person or animal in whom a particular soul is believed to have been reborn.
What is Re-Incarnation?
When you die, your conciousness picks itself up out of your body and pops itself into another body.
Some say we can incarnate as animals, some say we can incarnate as aliens, some say we can incarnate acrossed dimensions, some say we incarnate back and forth through time (the hypothesis that linear time is only to keep us sane, in reality time is a big bubble instead of a straight line).
My Philosophy:
Reincarnation helps us to understand ourselves and our destiny in this life a little bit better.
It helps us to recognize and understand repeating patterns in our life as, not problems or mistakes or drama, but to see the true purpose, which is a cosmic lesson .
Think of this as Schoolhouse Earth and these lessons are what we need to pass the test to level up to the next lesson.
I subscribe to the theory of reincarnation being all about learning the vast and many lessons that we have to learn as a soul to become a more complete and whole soul at the end of all of our journey.
*I also happen to believe that we are pieces of a much larger higher soul , but that is a personal belief and not necessarily tied into the basic concept of reincarnation.
Cultures that ascribe to reincarnation:
*Jainism
*Sikhism
*Buddhism
*Hinduism
*Spiritism
*eckankar
*many ancient Greek philosophers believed in reincarnation
as well as peoples in Australia ,East Asia ,Siberia , and in South America
Most within the abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam do not believe individuals reincarnate
Now,interestingly enough there are particular groups within these religions do refer to reincarnation.
These groups include the most followers of Kabbalah , the Cathars ,the Alawite’s, the Druze(sometimes self identifing as Unitarians) and the Rosicrucians.
The historical relations between the Sects and beliefs about reincarnation that were characteristic of neoplatonism, orphism hermeticism, Gnosticism of the Roman era have come under heavy research in recent years.
*Unity Church and its founder Charles Fillmore teach reincarnation
*Buddhism, according to various Buddhist scriptures, Gautama Buddha believed in the existence of an afterlife in another world and in reincarnation since there actually is another world .
Buddha Majjhima Nikaya  that’s translated by the Buddha also asserted that Karma influences rebirth and that the cycles of repeated births and deaths aren’t endless .
Before the birth of Buddha , ancient Indian Scholars had developed competing theories of afterlife, including the materialistic School such as Charvaka ,which posited that death is the end -there is no afterlife ,no soul ,no rebirth, no Karma- and they describe death to be a state where a living being is completely annihilated/dissolved.
Buddha rejected this theory, adopted the alternate existing theories on rebirth, criticizing the materialistic schools that denied rebirth and karma, states Damien Keown. Such beliefs are inappropriate and dangerous, stated Buddha, because such annihilationism views encourage moral irresponsibility and material hedonism; he tied moral responsibility to rebirth
the Buddha introduced the concept that there is no permanent self and that central concept of Buddhism is called Anatta.
Interestingly,
Tibetan Buddhism puts emphasis on the state of mind at the time of death.
It is said that, To die with a peaceful mind will bring a virtuous seed and a fortunate rebirth, but a disturbed mind harbingers a non-virtuous seed & an unfortunate rebirth.

History of reincarnation(lols):
The Origins of the idea of reincarnation are obscure.
Mentions of it appear in the philosophical traditions of India and
The Greek pre-socratics.
Also the Celtic Druids taught belief of reincarnation.
There are two different theories on how Ideas of & about reincarnation came about:
1. Ideas arose independently in different regions
or
2. they might have spread as a result of cultural contact
Some suspect cultural transmission and propose  links between Iron Age Celtic , Greek and Vedic philosophies and/or religions.
☆There are a few who feel that belief in reincarnation was around in proto-indo-european religion.
Ancient European, Iranian & Indian agricultural societies recognized that the life cycles of birth , death and rebirth were a mirror of agricultural Cycles. Which would make a great deal of sense, when you think about it.
☆The Celts in the first century BC ,wrote the Pythagorean doctrine and it prevails among the Gauls.
It teaches that The Souls of men are Immortal and that after a fixed number of years they will enter into another body.
The Druids of Gaul , Britain and Ireland had metempsychosis(the supposed transmigration at death of the soul of a human being or animal into a new body of the same or a different species) as one of their core doctrines.
the principal point of their Doctrine is that the soul does not die after death ,
it passes from one body into another, a doctrine which robs death of all its Terrors.
This is also the main object of their education -to imbue their Scholars with a firm belief in the indestructibility of the human soul –
☆Now, there is some Documentation from as early as the Han Dynasty claiming that Lao Zhu appeared on Earth as different persons in different times beginning in the legendary area of three sovereigns and five Emperors the third Century BC,
Their theory being:
birth is not a beginning,
death is not an end
*there’s existence without limitation
*there is continuity without a starting point *existence without limitation is space *continuity without a starting point is time there is birth ,there is death ,there is issuing forth, there is entering in.
☆Reincarnation also pops up in Norse mythology.
In the poetic Edda ,
the editor of the Edda’s speaks of a love story between a valkyrie and a Norseman which held that the couple died and rose three times in three different life paths.
“The body dies” hazards the Hindu Traditions “but not the soul”.
All existence is believed to be connected and cyclical in Hinduism.
All living beings composed of two things , the soul and the body or matter.
Ones soul does not change/cannot change by its innate nature in the Hindu belief, in contrast the body and personality changes constantly……It changes, is born and dies.
Current Karma impacts future circumstances in this life ,as well as future forms.
In their belief set, Karma, a Life’s good intent & actions lead to a good future.
While bad intent & actions offer a bad future.
Karma impacts how one reincarnates as well (in the Hindu view of existence heaven & hell are abit less permanent).
In the afterlife- based on one’s Karma- the soul is reborn as another being in heaven ( According to Hindu cosmology, above the earthly plane, are other planes: (1) Bhuva Loka, (2) Swarga Loka, meaning Good Kingdom, is the general name for heaven in Hinduism, a heavenly paradise of pleasure, where most of the Hindu Devatas (Deva) reside along with the king of Devas, Indra, and beatified mortals), Naraka ( is the Hindu equivalent of Hell, where sinners are tormented after death. Yama, the god of Death resides there. … The stay in Svarga or Naraka is generally temporary. After the quantum of punishment is over, the souls are reborn as lower or higher beings, per their merits.)  Or a living being on Earth..be it human or animal.
Gods die as well, once they’re past  karma merrits run out, As do those in Naraka ,and they return getting another chance on Earth.
This reincarnation continues endlessly in Cycles,  until one embarkes on a spiritual Pursuit -realizes self-knowledge and thereby gaines Moxa .
Moxa, being the final release out of The Reincarnation Cycles.
This release is believed to be a state of utter Bliss which New Traditions believe is either related to  or identical to bRahman or Nirvana.
☆In African voudon, the Yoruba people believe in reincarnation within the family, familial or lineal rebirth.
This is not to simply say that your grandfather or great-uncle will come back as your child.
However when the time arrives for a spirit to return to Earth (otherwise known as, The Marketplace) threw the conception of a new life in the direct bloodline of the family,
one of the component entities of a person’s being returns while the other remains in heaven.
Accordingly , the spirit that returns does so in the form of a guardian or Orisha.
One’s guardian or Orisha, which is represented & contained in the crown of the head, represents not only the spirit and energy of the previous blood relative but also the accumulated wisdom he or she has acquired through a myriad of lifetime’s.
☆ Reincarnation is an intrinsic part of many Native American and Inuit traditions as well.
So as you can see, Reincarnation (while the particulars are still debated) is a remarkably widely accepted belief construct 😀

Crystal Care: Tips on how to take care of your Stones
Ok so You have bought your shiny rock and you take it home……then what?
Either:
A. You set it on a shelf somewheres and forget about it
Or
B. You set it down after a few days when it quits working for you.
In each scenario, both yourself and your crystal suffers.
You don’t get what you need out of your friend that you just adopted….and your
little buddy doesn’t get proper care or a chance to do its job!
Crystals are easy, and low maintenance. But low maintenance doesn’t mean NO maintenance.
Everything in your life takes a little maintenance or care, and with a small bit of extra care everything shines.
Your crystals are no different.
There is the colloquial term of cleansing and charging.
I prefer to say, shower and feed them, also let them get rest-but not too much!
Cause you know you would be pretty cranky and ineffectual at what you do if you didn’t get a shower, some food and some sleep!!
So after a long day, put your crystals that you’ve been carting around with you (through the stress & BS) down by some selenite and let them rest there for the night.
(Its nice to have either a piece of selenite big enough to place your stones & jewelry on,
or a selenite bowl) or a bowl that you place everything in with a sizable chunk of white selenite.*
Then as your going about your morning routine, either hold your stones when you’re at that
“morning cup of coffee happy” moment
or reiki them alittle
or put on some singing bowl /gong tunage for them to charge up to.
*You can also put them by a piece of specular hematite (energy switch) to convert the negative energy that they sucked up to positive energy.

Crystal care How to:

Cleansing and charging(showering & feeding)-

Cleansing methods:
*Cleansing-clearing the negative, stagnant, foreign, unwanted energy that has collected out of your stones.
Salt- setting the stone in a bowl of salt, you can use any salt that you choose but keep in mind that you need to change the salt frequently.
Running water-hold them in a stream, creek, etc until they feel clean
Terra- Burying the stone in the ground
Sageing-wave your stuff through the smoke of a lite sage bundle
Sound therapy – Exposing the stones to singing bowls or other high pitched resonance frequencies such as bells
Full moon- set them out over night ( I always forget lol)
Sunlight (only for some stones!!! Others will fade)
Reiki (or other energy work)-using your energy to flush your stones
Selenite- setting your crystals & jewelry on/by/in a ceramic or glass bowl with selenite.
I prefer white selenite for this, and because I never remember which phase the moon is in until its almost gone…this is my preferred method.

Charging methods:
*Charging- pouring positive energy back into your stones.
New moon
Reiki or other energy healing methods
PPES (personal positive energy share)
Running water
Terra
Sunlight- have you ever felt a clear quartz after its been in the sun…..its like hugging a glowing ball of happy sunshine! It is cleaned and charged! Same thing happens with a black tourmaline.
These are some of the top tips that I’ve found for making sure that your crystal friends are feeling at the top of their game, and by association; you will too!!!!!
