Shop update

Hey folks,
Short update:
Iv been working with my chiropractor (Brockman Chiropractic, same dude that got me up and walking again back in 2011)
And am getting better, but Im still not at 100% capacity.
Until I get back on my feet, so to speak, some awesome people are helpin pick up the slack.
We appreciate your patience with some of the scheduling chaos.
Friday night talk schedules are gonna change, and todays talk is rescheduled (as Im still in a heckuvalot of pain)
We will be putting the classes up for the next few months, bear with us 🙂

New shopping bag stickers!

So we are Trying something new for the shopping bags at the shop, STICKERS!!!!
I designed some new business cards, and thought that they would make awesome brand stickers for our sale bags 🙂
Im super happy with how they turned out!!

My Time at the Farrar Schoolhouse by Danielle McKinney

I had been first introduced to the Farrar Schoolhouse in 2012. My friends Alicia and Dennis were vendors for their shop Des Moines New Age Shop and were attending Iowa Paracon. Dennis had called me to have me come out to the event. The schoolhouse is about 15 minutes away from my home, but at that time I had not heard of the school. I was interested in the paranormal ever since I was a child from watching Scariest Places on Earth and MTV’s Fear. The Villisca Axe Murder house had always piqued my interest. But I had never really been in a haunted place before; it wasn’t until I first stepped into Farrar that I knew that there was another side and experienced the paranormal first hand. I didn’t investigate the schoolhouse that night, but I got a creepy vibe initially when I was walking through the building. It wasn’t until I kept coming back to the school that my creepy vibe transformed into a yearning for more experiences. The following year, I had attended Iowa Paracon with my mother, my sister and my sister’s best friend. We investigated the school with other people and paranormal investigators. We heard a locker slammed, saw shadow figures, and heard things. From then on, I was hooked. I have been back to the school multiple times. I have heard things, been touched, seen shadow figures, and had flashlights turn on and off on command. Every time I visit the school; I have had a different experience each time. Investigations are like fishing; you must put the bait out there and just wait. If you try to force the experience then it is probably likely you will not have an experience. You have to go in with an open mind and not hype yourself up; everybody’s experience is different. I have a good experience with Farrar and keep going back for more.

Center basement update

So we had some water in the basement at  the shop , Hubby & I will be gettin our Mopping & Bleaching on (yucky)……But all in all we got hellaciously LUCKY!!!!!

We are counting our blessings!!!!!

Needless to say, we will be opening alittle late today.

Our thoughts & prayers go out to everbody that got hit by the floods last night

Event Change: Don Davis will be taking over for Melinda Carver

Hey Folks,
Melinda Carver has had to cancel her visit due to travel arrangements went awry….but…..Awesome News!!!
 
Psychic Medium Don Davis Has agreed to step in last minute
to hold the Spirit Gallery on
Friday, June 8th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
 
Don will be delivering messages from Deceased Loved Ones, Spirit Guides, Ascended Masters and Angels
 
Ticket prices: $45 pre pay & $55 at the door
 
AND we are doin sumthin alittle different!!!
 
Spiral healing energies will be doing a group sound healing session right before the Spirit gallery, and a Reiki healing circle directly following the Spirit gallery……so show up early and stick around for alittle bit afterwards!!!!!!

  • Articles – This tab we managed to recover the list of previous articles, now we need to find the articles again. Please be patient we will get them up as soon as we can.
  • Classes/Events – We have listed a few of the upcoming classes, through this week. This will be updated almost daily, definitely keep checking back.
  • Shop – This will lead to our Square space  store. We need to update the store, but most of the items listed are currently available.

It took a while, but the website is back. We have saved what we could of the older posts. If you’re curious, feel free to review them below.

Other wise keep coming back since we will be posting more articles and more information on many subjects on everything dealing with all new age subject matter including astrology, the magical and mystical, the explained including everything from haunting’s to UFO abductions, and everything in the new age community locally, nationally and even globally.
